New Hairpins- as promised if not a bit late :-)

Well I said I would give you a sneak preview of the hairpins I made the other day- I'm afraid it's more of a post sneak preview now as they're live on my website and in my Folksy shop. I've called them "Aiyana" and "Papillon et la Fleur". I made a tiara today using my popular daisy design. It looks really pretty and dainty and I think would make the perfect addition to a spring or summer bride's hair do. I'll post a picture of the tiara soon.

Well here's a sneak preview of one of my makes over the weekend. I've decided to call it Butterfly Garden Bracelet- I've made the bracelet using Thai Karen Hill Tribe butterfly beads and gorgeous flower clasp, white jade and amazonite beads and amazonite carved flowers.

Is this really Summer? Surely it should be raining to make it a proper British summer day!!

Evening! I've had a great day. A day off from work (real work) so I've been able to do a bit of gardening- at last my skin can finally see a bit of sun, I've made a bracelet and some new designs of hair pins- I'll take some photos this weekend to give you a sneaky peek before they go up on my websites. I'm presently sat in the garden drinking a lovely cold refreshing glass of white wine. Perfect.

I'm only a little bit sad (honest) that I'm not a Glastonbury this weekend- normally the sights of the festival goers drowning in mud on TV makes me feel a little bit better not to have a ticket but not this year :-(. Oh well- there's always next year!

Work tomorrow- I better watch how fast this glass of wine gets drunk.
